Cook Strait Race 2003

Impressions of the Cook Strait Race 2003, where we had any possible weather conditions. On the way from Picton to Wellington it was very windy. The sails could only be lifted for one third of his length. The boat speed was still around 14 knots. The waves reached a height of about 3m.

On the racing day, the wind eased more and more. Finally ist stopped totally wright before the Torry Channel. So we have been forced to quit the race.
