Serpentine Road (4WD only)

From Lake Onslow Road, Serpentine Road heads north on a challenging grass track to meet Long Valley Ridge Road near the historic Serpentine Union Church. It then heads west to join Linnburn Runs Road.
The Serpentine church was built in 1873 by miners perhaps made more god-fearing by the stark, forlorn landscape in which they sweated. A wooden plaque on the end wall of the building tells its story.
